BEAUFORT — Eric Blakely rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown to lead Beaufort to a 17-14 victory over visiting Wando on Friday.
Blakely scored on a 13-yard run in the second quarter, and teammate Tarquez Johnson added a 17-yard TD run later in the quarter.
Wando got on the board in the second quarter when quarterback Dalton Stubbs connected with Zola Davis on a 5-yard TD pass. The Warriors pulled to within three points when Stubbs scored on a 7-yard run in the third quarter. Stubbs finished with 65 yards rushing on 17 carries, and completed 9 of 18 passes for 82 yards.
