A North Charleston man was arrested and charged in connection with a reported shooting that happened last week on Oakwood Avenue.
Antonio Mcneil, 21 of Pickop Miles Court, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, Charleston County jail records show.
The charges stem from an incident that happened on Aug. 17.
North Charleston police officers responded to a mobile home on Oakwood Avenue shortly after 7 p.m., an incident report states.
A 27-year-old man told police that someone drove to his home in a silver sport utility vehicle and fired a shot at the mobile home.
The vehicle was located nearby and towed, according to the report.
One person was transported to Medical University Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the incident, police said.
Police on Thursday arrested Mcneil at his girlfriend’s home on Bexley Street.
He is being held at the Charleston County jail pending a bond hearing.
