A Columbia couple who police say left blood inside a West Ashley house that was robbed last week have been arrested.
A house on Albemarle Road was robbed Aug. 13, according to Charleston police. A neighbor told police he saw a woman in the driveway. She identified herself as Ally and said she was there looking at a sailboat she might buy. The neighbor later saw a man he didn’t recognize coming out of the house carrying a gun case.
The residents came home and discovered the front door had been forced open and jewelry and an antique BB gun missing. The residents and officers also noticed blood around the door of a bathroom cabinet and blood on clothes in the master bedroom closet.
Dustin Andrew Carroll, 20, of Millbrook Road in Columbia was arrested later that day after a woman told police he tried to snatch her purse at a West Ashley shopping center.
Alexandria Margaret Moore, 20, of Willow Street in Columbia was arrested Monday.
Both were charged with second-degree burglary.
