A 20-year-old man arguing with two women outside a North Charleston apartment complex threatened them with a gun, according to North Charleston police.
Jerome Isaiah Pear, 20, of Liberty Hall Road in Goose Creek was charged Monday with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and pointing a firearm.
Pear’s former girlfriend and another woman said he pulled out a silver and black handgun Aug. 10 while they were arguing outside an apartment on Clements Avenue. Pear ran away when a police officer approached, according to an incident report.
Pear was arrested Monday night in a separate incident that also led to a foot chase with police. He also faces charges of carjacking and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime in a separate incident, according to jail records.
