Supporters of Veronica, birth father, hold rallies

Some half-dozen supporters of the Capobianco family, Veronica’s adoptive parents, were joined by a few supporters of her birth father, Dusten Brown, during a short prayer vigil Sunday at Centennial Park in Tulsa, Okla.

Supporters for Veronica’s adoptive parents and biological father continued to organize and rally as the details of recent court proceedings remain shrouded behind a judge’s gag order.

On Sunday, about a dozen people gathered at Tulsa’s Centennial Park to hold a prayer vigil for both Veronica’s adoptive parents — Matt and Melanie Capobianco — and the family of Dusten Brown, her biological father.

Four months after she was born, Brown agreed to give custody to the birth mother, who — unbeknownst to him, he maintains — had already put Veronica up for adoption.
