Clemson TE Jordan Leggett out 3-4 weeks, avoids season-ending surgery
Clemson true freshman Jordan Leggett, competing to start at tight end, injured his MCL during Wednesday morning’s practice. The team announced late Wednesday night he will miss 3-4 weeks, meaning he won’t be available for the opener against Georgia but will not need season-ending surgery.
“We are 2-for-2 in recent injuries that could have been serious,” said head coach Dabo Swinney, referring to last week’s knee injury to rookie returner T.J. Green. “We are fortunate we will have Jordan back early in the season.”
