A Walterboro man was arrested by State Law Enforcement Division agents Wednesday in connection with the diversion of payments for income tax preparations in 2012.
Lennie Johnson, 45, of Saturn Lane, was charged with one count of breach of trust with fraudulent intent over $10,000.
The felony could bring up to 10 years behind bars.
An affidavit says Johnson, while employed at the Income Tax Workshop, allegedly took approximately $45,430 in customer payments.
