You may want to plan your weekend beach trip for Saturday this week.
It will be mostly sunny with a high in the upper 80s Saturday with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon adding up to a 20 percent chance of precipitation.
That jumps to 40 percent on Sunday with increasing cloudiness and a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. The remnants of Tropical Storm Dorian are expected to increase the chance of rain starting Sunday and running through the early week.
So enjoy the sun on Saturday and keep your umbrellas handy for Sunday and beyond.
