A second man has been arrested after a triple shooting outside a bar near Goose Creek Sunday.
The men are accused of wounding three people outside the Nowhere Bar and Grill on Henry Brown Boulevard.
Steven Moses, 38, of Lindy Creek Road in Goose Creek was arrested at his house Thursday morning and charged with three counts of attempted murder, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dan Moon said. He was being held at in the Berkeley County jail Thursday.
Jason Gourdine, 38 of Hooks Lane was arrested at his home Wednesday morning and charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of criminal conspiracy and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. He was also being held at the Berkeley County jail Thursday.
Two men walked into the members-only bar about 1:50 a.m. Sunday and asked for a drink, an incident report states. Bartenders denied the men because the bar was getting ready to close at 2 a.m., witnesses reported.
The men grew angry and yelled that they weren’t being served because they were black, the report states. An argument ensued between the men and some of the bar’s patrons.
The dispute spilled into the parking lot where one of the men retrieved a shotgun and pulled the trigger, deputies said. Three people were wounded.
