A man using a stolen credit card was caught on video, according to Goose Creek police who are asking for help identifying him.
About 2:30 a.m. June 27, a man walked into a Walgreens in Summerville and used a credit card that was stolen from Two Keys Tavern in Goose Creek to buy $165 worth of items, Goose Creek Police Capt. John Grainger said.
On Thursday, police released images they said showed the man using the stolen credit card.
The card was stolen after a patron at the tavern left it on the bar after paying his tab and started talking to friends, according to the incident report. The man told police he contacted the bank and canceled the card later that day and was told several fraudulent transactions had already been made. He said he didn’t know he should file a police report until somebody advised him to do so last week.
Anyone with information about the man in the photos is asked to call Investigator Micah Fogle at 863-5200, extension 2334.
