FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police are investigating three overnight shootings that injured five people in Fayetteville.
Officers responded at 3:30 a.m. Saturday to a McDonald’s restaurant parking, where they found 35-year-old Joshua Chunn suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities say Chunn had gotten into a fight at a nightclub before he was shot.
An hour later, officers responded to a shooting call at a house party. Seventeen-year-old Keondre Thomas and 21-year-old Kristen Wood were taken to a hospital for gunshot injuries.
Detectives say two more people, 27-year-old Antonias Milton and 23-year-old Sedale Council, were sent to a hospital at 6 a.m. after they were shot at a different home.
Police didn’t say if the shootings were related. No arrests have been made.
