Three suspects have surrendered to Summerville police in connection with a shooting that happened on Ladson Road this week, Capt. Jon Rogers said.

Ricky DeMarkus Williams, 22, Delani Simmons, 18, and Bradford Spells, 18, are each charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm during a violent crime and two counts of discharging a firearm into a dwelling, Rogers said.

Summerville police were dispatched to Planters Retreat Apartments, 4370 Ladson Road, about 6 p.m. on Wednesday concerning a shootout involving multiple men. No one was injured in the shooting, but building G at the complex appeared to have been struck, Rogers said.

Simmons and Williams surrendered to police Thursday night and Spells turned himself in this morning, Rogers said.

The case remains under investigation, Rogers said.
