As part of the S.C. Army National Guard Summer Concert Series, the 246th Army Band will perform on board the World War II-era aircraft carrier Yorktown at Patriots Point at 2 p.m. Friday.
The concert will end at 3:30. Regular parking and admission still apply, but there is no extra cost for the concert.
“Listening to patriotic songs performed by those who served our country is an honor,” Patriots Point Executive Director Mac Burdette said. “Add in the location of the Yorktown, and there’s no doubt American pride will be alive and well at their performance Friday.”
