South Carolina’s business regulations are topic of North Charleston hearing

Gov. Nikki Haley’s Regulatory Review Task Force will hold a public meeting Tuesday in North Charleston, one of several being held around the state.

It starts at noon and runs until 2 p.m. at City Hall, 2500 City Hall Lane.

The regional meetings are open to all lawmakers, business owners and the general public. Any South Carolina resident can attend and make recommendations to the task force.

Haley formed the 11-member task force in February to review the state’s business regulations and identify ways to eliminate rules that are burdensome.
