ISLE OF PALMS -- Dermatologists from the Medical University of South Carolina are taking to the road to spread the word about the importance of skin cancer screenings.
The university’s mobile health unit, which is a fully equipped doctor’s office on wheels, is scheduled to set up at the front beach at the Isle of Palms on Saturday.
Dermatologists are offering free skin cancer screenings between 9 a.m. and noon.
The van visits Splash Zone Waterpark on James Island on Aug. 10.
