The Salute from the Shore aircraft parade is back for the Fourth.
The fourth annual air parade will begin at 1 p.m. in North Myrtle Beach and will follow the S.C. coast to Hilton Head.
The air parade is continuing, despite sequestration grounding the F-16s from Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter.
“It’s really inspiring that despite challenges this year, we are flying anyway. This event is a reminder and celebration of our freedom and all the military does to ensure that,” said Salute from the Shore board president Andy Folsom in a press release.
Those who will flock to the beach to see the aircraft are asked to show their support by saluting. This will be videotaped and shared with state military personnel.
