Charleston police this morning arrested a man accused of burglarizing a King Street apartment.
Kevin Frazier, 53, is charged with first-degree burglary in connection with the incident, police spokesman Charles Francis said.
One of the apartment’s residents awoke to find a man standing in front of him holding a pair of pants about 3:30 a.m., Francis said. The pants contained the resident’s wallet, he said.
The burglar dropped the pants on the ground and ran out of the apartment, Francis said. The resident called 911 and provided a description of the burglar, he said.
Police later arrested Frazier on Coming Street. He is being held at the Charleston County jail, Francis said.
The burglary remains under investigation, Francis said.
