Carol Yochem has joined TD Bank and TD Wealth unit as senior vice president and regional wealth leader for the metro Carolinas region. Previously, she was executive vice president and head of the wealth management business at First Citizens Bank & Trust in Raleigh. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois-Champaign.
Chase Mordy has joined Schuchart as a project manager for its Southeast office in North Charleston. He has 10 years of construction industry experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and construction management from the University of Denver.
Jerold Hale has been named dean of the College of Charleston’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences effective July 1. Previously, he was dean of the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s College of Arts, Science and Letters. He has a master’s degree and a doctorate in communication from Michigan State University.
Brandon Stevens, Thomas Webber and Richard Fisher have joined the Charleston office of DHR International.
Stevens is senior associate of board and CEO services. Previously, he oversaw the College of Charleston athletics department’s annual giving program. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in health and physical education, both from Marshall University.
Webber is executive service manager.
Fisher is executive vice president of the JobPlex unit. He has 14 years of industry experience. Previously, he was with Wyndham Mills International. He has a bachelor’s degree in management science from Duke University.
Scott Y. Barnes has joined Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd PA as special counsel in the firm’s Charleston office. He is a certified tax specialist and practices in the areas of corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions and real estate tax planning. He has a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He also is an adjunct professor at Charleston School of Law. Previously, he was with Warren & Sinkler.
Katherine Sauls and Cameron Smith have joined Regions Mortgage as mortgage loan officers. Both previously were with Bank of America Home Loans.

Katy Gerloff has joined the Humanities Foundation Inc. as director of program development. She has a master’s degree in social work from the University of South Carolina. She has six years of nonprofit experience.
William “Bo” Turocy and Kimberly Laymon have joined the Summerville Main Street office of Carolina One Real Estate as agents.
Turocy has a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and is a former member of the Professional Golfers Association.

Rhett Elliott and Eric Zwart have joined Coda del Pesce on the Isle of Palms.
Elliott is chef de cuisine. Previoulsy, he was chef de cuisine at Trattoria Lucca in downtown Charleston.
Zwart is general manager. Previously, he was general manager at Carter’s Kitchen in Mount Pleasant.
