Charleston County Sheriff’s detectives searched a Hollywood Internet cafe and arrested two men in connection with an ongoing investigation of illegal gaming operations being conducted at the location.
On Monday at 4:30 p.m., detectives served two search warrants at Round 2 Internet Sweepstakes and Internet Café, 3874 Savannah Highway, and seized cash and 24 video gambling machines, Sheriff’s Maj. James Brady said.
Charles W. Herrington, 61, of 7675 Valleyview Circle in North Charleston, is charged with unlawful keeping of gaming machines. Henry R. Owens, 64, of 5435 L&J Estates Drive in Ravenel, is charged with unlawful games and betting.
