NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Actors can audition for a dozen New Orleans theater companies at once later this month at the National World War II Museum.
Aimée Hayes of the Southern Rep company says the city-wide auditions for actors age 18 and up will be June 29 in the museum’s Stage Door Canteen.
Actors Equity Association members should email Hayes at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment.
Non-Equity actors should prepare two contrasting monologues of one minute each. Singers should bring sheet music and prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre standard to sing a cappella.
All should bring 20 copies of their resume and an attached headshot.
