Dressler is vice president based in the downtown Charleston office. He has more than four years of industry experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and real estate and entrepreneurial management from the University of South Carolina.
Lisa Smith-Butler and William M. Janssen have been promoted at Charleston School of Law.
Smith-Butler, associate dean for information and technology, has been awarded tenure. She has a bachelor’s degree from Hastings College, a master’s degree in library science from Clark Atlanta University and a law degree from Creighton University School of Law.
Janssen has been promoted to full professor. He has a bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University and a law degree from Washington College of Law at American University.
Tucker Cecil and Sarah G.J. Verstraten have joined the Charleston office of Willson Jones Carter & Baxley PA as attorneys practicing in the area of workers compensation defense.
Cecil has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Verstraten has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the College of Charleston and a law degree from Charleston School of Law.
Jimmy King, Rose Lawless and Stephen Perry have joined Regions Mortgage as mortgage loan officers. All previously were with Bank of America Home Loans.
King is based in Summerville. He has seven years of experience. Lawless is based in Mount Pleasant. She has 25 years of experience. Perry is based in downtown Charleston. He has 10 years of experience, and he has a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel.
Mike Malinski has joined the Humanities Foundation Inc. as controller. Previously, he was a tax preparer with Moody CPAs and Advisors and was a staff accountant with Piaker & Lyons. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
Janet Newham has has joined Carolina One Real Estate as an agent based in the Isle of Palms office. She has a bachelor’s degree in business from Georgia State University. Previously, she was senior vice president of resource development at the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Jeanne Snoza and Sam Broadway have joined RE/MAX Advanced Realty as agents based in the West Ashley office.

Brad May has been promoted at Blackbaud Inc., and Chad Anderson has joined the company.
May is vice president of professional services based at the company’s Daniel Island headquarters. He has more than 18 years of customer service experience. Previously, he was director of customer renewals. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of South Carolina.
Anderson is vice president and corporate controller. He is responsible for financial reporting, corporate and global accounting operations, tax, purchasing, and revenue assurance. He has more than 19 years of financial experience. Previously, he was chief financial officer at Brightpoint Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University.
