Mount Pleasant police looking for suspect in attempted assault of jogger

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is looking for a man who attempted to assault a jogger on Friday morning.

The woman told police she was running near Etiwan Pointe Drive when a man approached her from behind and attempted to pull down her skort. She kicked him and he fled, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male about 5’9” tall with a stocky build and broad shoulders. He was wearing black shoes, a gray T-shirt, long gray shorts and blue gloves on his hands. He had a stretchable bandage wrapped around his head covering his face.
