A combination of heavy rains, high tide and rush-hour traffic locked down downtown Charleston for a couple of hours Wednesday.
While many residents stayed inside and stayed dry, others braved the roadways. Even if they were able to avoid flooded streets, they most likely became stuck in traffic.
All of it was caught on social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram - including the rainbow that signaled the worst of the storms was over.
