Charleston County sheriff’s deputies on Thursday arrested a Johns Island man accused of possessing and possibly distributing child pornography.
Horace L. Crosby Jr., 41 of Mary Ann Point Road, is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, sheriff’s Maj. Jim Brady said.
Deputies assisted Homeland Security agents in a search of Crosby’s home and found evidence of child pornography, an incident report states. The report did not further describe the evidence found at Crosby’s home.
Homeland Security initiated the investigation on Crosby, Brady said.
Crosby is being held at the Charleston County jail and is expected to have a bail hearing Friday morning, Brady said.
