Google is holding an event to give teachers, entrepreneurs, and employees of nonprofits a chance to learn how to use the Internet company’s tools at the Trident Technical College campus in North Charleston.
Wednesday’s free Googlefest event will include teaching about various online Google programs such as Google Plus, Google Apps and Google Drive.
Google operates a data center in Berkeley County. According to the S.C. Department of Commerce’s website, the event is to take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Back in January the company announced it was investing another $600 million in the facility, bringing its investment in the South Carolina Lowcountry to $1.2 billion.
