Marjorie “Marj” Shymske has been named president of Quest Construction Products, a wholly owned North Charleston-based subsidiary of Quest Specialty Chemicals. She has more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and management. Previously, she was president and chief executive officer of Victor Oolitic Stone Co., and she worked for 27 years in sales and management at Owens Corning.

Forestry science

Jason Watson and Chris Rosier have joined Ridgeville-based ArborGen.

Watson is Piedmont regional sales coordinator. He has more than 15 years of experience. Previously, he was sales manager at International Forest Co. He has a bachelor’s degree in forestry from Mississippi State University.

Rosier is pine breeding project leader. He has more than 12 years of experience. Previously, he was product development and marketing manager at International Forest Co. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and natural resources and a master’s in tree improvement and tree genetics from North Carolina State University.

Law

Tom Hildebrand has joined Parker Poe Adams & Bern-stein LLP as a partner in the firm’s Charleston office.He works in the firm’s commercial and construction group. Previously, he was with Haynesworth Sinkler Boyd. He has a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel and a law degree from Wake Forest University.

Ann Baker, Mary Butler and Kathy Cribb have joined Regions Mortgage as mortgage loan officers.

Baker is based in downtown Charleston. She has 32 years of experience. Previously, she was with Bank of America Home Loans. She has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston.

Butler is based in Mount Pleasant. She has nine years of experience. Previously, she was with Shelter Mortgage. She has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston.

Cribb is based in North Charleston. She has 25 years of experience. Previously, she was with Bank of America Home Loans.

Nonprofit

Steffanie Dohn has joined the Coastal Community Foundation as director of development.

She has 15 years of experience in human services and higher education fundraising. Previously, she was director of development at Crisis Ministries. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Lake Forest College.

Christopher McCormick has joined Carolina One Real Estate as an agent based in the Summerville Main Street office. He has been a real estate agent in Ohio and South Carolina for 16 years.

Anne Machowski has joined the Charleston office of Colliers International as assistant property manager. She has more than six years of industry experience and is a licensed property manager. Previously, she was with Ram Partners LLC, Southwood Realty Co. and Stonemark Management.

Restaurant

Justin Coleman has joined Maverick Southern Kitchens as associate general manager of its High Cotton restaurant in downtown Charleston. Previously, he was head sommelier at the The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges in New York. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental economics from the University of Rhode Island.
