The U.S. Coast Guard rescued three boaters early Saturday morning after their boat started sinking about five miles south of the Charleston jetties.

A call for help was placed at 7:10 a.m. after the boaters said their center console boat started taking on water through a hole in the transom.

All three declined medical attention. No injuries were reported.
