Two Summerville stores sell winning lottery tickets

Two Summerville area residents are living easy this week after winning big money on scratch-off lottery tickets.

The EZ Stop 3 on W. 5th N. St. sold a ticket worth $250,000 and the Oakbrook Express on Dorchester Road sold one valued at $100,000, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery.

Both winners said they would use the money to pay off their home mortgages.

Odds of winning one of the two remaining top prizes in the ($10) Big Money game are 1 in 500,000. Three top prizes are left on the FAN-tastic! game with odds of 1 in 432,000.
