A young man was found dead in an apartment in downtown Charleston Tuesday afternoon, and police are trying to deterimine what happened.
Crime-scene investigators from the Charleston police department taped off 24 Morris St. Tuesday afternoon and spent several hours at the scene. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office was also there.
Neighbors said a young man who lived in an upstairs apartment was found dead.
Police are waiting for the coroner’s office to give a report on the cause of death before proceeding, spokesman Charles Francis said.
No other information was available Tuesday.
