Four men and a woman were arrested Wednesday in a drug raid at a North Charleston house.
North Charleston police narcotics agents executed a search warrant at 2129 Victory Ave. at about 9 a.m., according to police spokesman Spencer Pryor. Police confiscated 2.4 ounces of cocaine base, a gram of cocaine, 9 grams of marijuana, items used to make, package and distribute illegal drugs and a 9 mm Smith & Wesson pistol reported stolen to Summerville police, he said.
The five people were charged with trafficking cocaine base, manufacturing cocaine base, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and possession of a stolen firearm.
They are Antonio Law, 32, and Lanaroi Huger, who live at the house; Trevis Eady, 35, of McGee Road in Rock Hill; Reginald Hamilton, 26, of Hunters Ridge in North Charleston; and Ebonee Middleton, 20, of East Shore Lane in Charleston.
Law also was charged with possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime of violence.
He pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary in 2000 and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, minus his 17 months in jail, according to Charleston County court records.
All five were being held at the Charleston County jail Wednesday.
