A man was arrested Tuesday after a 27-year-old woman told police somebody man grabbed her buttocks at a West Ashley gas station Friday, then ran his car into her bicycle when she rode off.

Enrico Bryant, 31, of Lodge is charged with assault and battery of a high an aggravated nature and second-degree assault and battery.

The woman told police a man grabbed her buttocks about 1 p.m. Friday when she was in front of the Kangaroo gas station at 1406 Savannah Highway. She confronted him, and he became agitated and defensive, according to the incident report.

She told police she rode off on her bicycle and a car come up behind her and hit her at 644 Wantoot Blvd. The impact knocked her to the ground and hurt her hands, according to the report. She told police she saw the car turn around and head back toward Savannah Highway.

The gas station has cameras that record activity outside the store, according to the report.

Bryant was being held on Tuesday in the Charleston County jail.
