Somebody stole a woman’s wallet while she was shopping last month and then charged more than $800 on her credit cards.
Charleston police released an image of the suspect from a store surveillance camera Monday and are asking for help finding her.
An 87-year-old woman told police she was shopping at the West Ashley Piggly Wiggly near Charles Towne Landing around 12:30 p.m. April 18 when somebody took her wallet out of her purse, according to an incident report.
