How to do a skin cancer self-exam
Stand in front of a full-length, well-lit mirror with no clothes on.
Look at the front of you.
Take a hand mirror and look at the back of you.
Look at your underarms, private areas, palms and soles — everywhere.
Know your moles.
Have your partner take a second look.
See a dermatologist every year for a full skin check, or sooner if they find anything that is growing or changing.
