Hanahan High School product Ashton Jarrett, who plays second base for College of Charleston’s softball team, was named all-Southern Conference today.
Jarrett, a senior, was joined on the first-team all-SoCon squad by pitcher Hope Klicker, first baseman Chandler Frisbie and third baseman Kelsey Hodgson.
Pitcher Stephanie Saylors made the second team, and Frisbie and Becca Mueller were named to the all-freshman squad.
Charleston (34-18, 15-8 SoCon) enters the SoCon tournament as the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Western Carolina in the opening round on Wednesday at UNC Greensboro.
