The Medical University of South Carolina will hold free fitness classes through the month as part of it’s “Adventure Out” campaign, a movement to get Lowcountry residents to exercise outdoors.
The kickoff event, Adventure Out Family Fitness Day, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at James Island County party and will include Zumba session, a jump castle for kids and more.
Free fitness events will be held later this month, including sunrise yoga and Tae Bo,
A press release for Adventure Out explains that “research shows outdoor or ‘green exercise’ delivers powerful health benefits.”
