The Charleston Southern University School of Nursing will accept an $88,000 grant from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation of South Carolina during a Friday luncheon.
“The grant was provided to support the School of Nursing’s expansion by funding the pediatric simulator,” said Harvey Galloway, executive director of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina Foundation, in a prepared statement.
The foundation is presenting a series of grants to organizations around the state in 2013, according a press release about the event.
Charleston Southern’s nursing program offers four-year degrees, master of science degrees and continuing education programs for registered nurses with two-year degrees.
