Friday Contra Dance

What: Contra dancing is social interaction, meeting people and making new friends, set to music. A caller, usually working with a group of live musicians, guides new and experienced dancers alike through a variety of dances. A dancer and his or her partner dance a series of figures, or moves, with each other and with another couple for a short time.

Saturday Garden Club Yard Sale

What: The Town and Village Garden Club of Moncks Corner and Pinopolis annual spring yard sale will offer household items, plants and a Christmas table. Proceeds will benefit community beautification and ongoing projects such as Stoney Landing House decorations for Christmas tours, school gardens and a Blue Star Highway Marker in Moncks Corner. Gently used items can be donated 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 19 at the church.
