CHARLESTON — Gardeners in the Lowcountry have the chance to learn how to beautify landscapes from the comfort of home.
A five-week course being offered by the Ashley Cooper Stormwater Education Consortium begins Tuesday. Participants will learn how to grow and maintain environmentally friendly Lowcountry landscapes. There will be lessons on maintaining healthy soil, determining the right plants for certain locations and how to create a wildlife sanctuary in your own backyard.
The Carolina Yards Online course is offered to residents of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. Other people can participate, but there may be some limitations. For more information click here.
