Charleston doctor to be honored by Sen. Graham in D.C.

A Charleston pediatrician will be recognized by Sen. Lindsey Graham at the U.S. Capitol on Thursday for his overseas mission work.

Dr. Robert Clifford, chairman of the pediatrics departments at Roper and St. Francis hospitals in Charleston and a physician at Coastal Pediatric Associates, won a Save the Children Federation’s REAL Award in January. He will be recognized with other award winners at the reception in Washington this week.

The REAL Awards celebrate “health care workers on the frontlines” across the world.
