Donald Baus has been promoted to the principal for SGA Architecture, He is based in the firm’s North Charleston office. He has more than 16 years of experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a bachelor’s in architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Allison Trippe has joined First Citizens as vice president and retail sales manager based in the Coleman Boulevard branch in Mount Pleasant. Previously, she was an assistant financial center manager with First Federal Bank. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Florida.
Joseph Head has been named project manager for Charleston-based Hannah Solar Government Services LLC. He has four years of construction management experience and two years of experience in the solar industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and chemistry from Kennesaw State University.
Crystal Porcher has joined Hospice Care of South Carolina as a social worker for Charleston County. She has a bachelor’s degree from South Carolina State University and a master’s degree in social work from Barry University. Previously, she was a medical social worker for Gentiva Home Health and for Odyssey Hospice.
Wallace B. Scarborough has been named president and chief executive officer of Atlantic Coast Life Insurance Co. He has been with the Charleston-based company since 1989. Most recently, he was executive vice president and secretary. He also served in the S.C. House of Representatives for eight years. He has a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel. He succeeds Y.W. “Bill” Scarborough III, who remains with the company as chairman of the board.
