GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina woman who was killed and dismembered is being laid to rest five years after her death.

WYFF-TV reports ( that relatives of 34-year-old Mekole Harris held a memorial service for her on Sunday in Greenville.

Clarence Jenkins is serving a life sentence for killing Harris, then cutting off her hands and feet and leaving them as blackmail at the home of another woman who was involved in a three-way relationship with the couple.

Jenkins’ wife, Carmen, was sentenced to 50 years in prison.

Fingerprints were used to identify Harris’ severed hands and feet, found April 7, 2008, in black plastic bags at two homes about a mile apart. Police say there was no connection between Harris and the other woman.
