North Charleston police on Thursday arrested a man in connection with a shooting last month on Cosmopolitan Street.
Mario Archield, 28, of North Charleston is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm in commission of a violent crime, jail records show.
On March 19, a 24-year-old man told police he was shot in the left leg above the knee by a man during an argument.
The gunman rode away on a beach cruiser bicycle, police said. A .45-caliber gun casing was recovered at the scene.
Archield was arrested on Thursday at a Berkeley County home, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said. He is expected to have a bond hearing today, Pryor said.
