Staff report

Today’s forecast of heavy rain has caused changes in the high school sports schedule.

Hanahan Invitational Tournament officials decided to play the baseball semifinals on Wednesday, rather than today because of the forecast.

The championship game will be played at 1 p.m. Friday at Hanahan and the title game features Summerville vs. Starr’s Mill, Ga.

The Bishop England boys’ lacrosse playoff match against Chapin has been postponed until 5:30 p.m. Friday. It will be played at Jack Cantey Stadium.

The Wando boys’ and girls’ lacrosse matches have been postponed until Friday. Both games will be played at the Wando Athletic Complex.

The Wando girls will play Academic Magnet at 5:30 p.m. and the boys will play Hilton Head at 7:30 p.m.
