Louis “Skip” ReVille is ignoring a federal lawsuit filed against him by a former summer camper that said ReVille sexually abused him when the camper was 14 years old at The Citadel.
The suit was filed last March. ReVille is currently serving a 50-year sentence after he pleaded guilty last year to abusing more than 23 young boys in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.
ReVille has failed to defend himself or even answer the lawsuit against him, according to federal court filings. ReVille was served with the suit in prison on July 2, it stated.
He is in protective custody at the Kirkland Correctional Institution in Columbia, according to state correction officials.
His crimes date to 2002, when he began preying upon boys at his alma mater, The Citadel, during summer camp where he served as a counselor.
