Citadel-CSU rained out
The Citadel and Charleston Southern were tied 2-2 heading to the bottom of the second inning Saturday when heavy rains forced the postponement of the middle game of the three-game weekend series.
The game will be made up at a date later this season. The teams are still scheduled to play at Riley Park on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Mason Davis singled and scored on a wild pitch in the first, and the Bulldogs also scored in the second when Johnathan Stokes singled and came across on an error on a grounder off the bat of Davis.
The Bucs scored twice in the bottom of the first on RBIs by Robbie Streett and Alex Tomasovich off James Reeves.
None of the stats will count as the game is considered a no contest.
