A 33-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck in Berkeley County this morning.
The Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Daniel Kelley of Goose Creek.
The wreck occurred about 7:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 176 near Wassamassaw Lane, S.C. Highway Patrol Sgt. Bob Beres said.
Wassamassaw Lane is between Jedburg Road and Cypress Campground Road.
A 1999 Ford Expedition was traveling east on Highway 176 when the driver ran off the right side of the road and struck a few trees and a brick wall before striking another tree, Beres said.
