Collisions causing traffic delays on interstate
Traffic is backed up on Interstate 26 where several accidents have taken place this morning.
A hit-and-run collision occurred at around 9 a.m. on U.S. Highway 78 and Interstate 26, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol’s website. No one was injured.
The Highway Patrol also reports three other collisions with no injuries on I-26 at Airport Road, Meeting Street and near exit 213 eastbound.
Photos show traffic is reportedly bumper-to-bumper.
