Former Clemson quarterback Willy Korn will join the Charleston Southern coaching staff as its receivers coach. Korn confirmed reports on Twitter on Tuesday.

“Thrilled and honored to be named WR coach at Charleston Southern University,” Korn wrote.

Korn was a highly decorated prep prospect at Byrnes High but never lived up to his five-star status in part due to injury in part due to Kyle Parker, who beat Korn out for the starting job in 2009.

Korn transferred to Marshall in 2010 and then later to North Greenville, where he played under CSU coach Jamey Chadwell.

Korn earned rave reviews for his worth ethic and leadership at Clemson.
