Colleton Medical Center names new CEO
The chief operating officer of the Ocala Health System in Ocala, Fla. has been chosen for the top job at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Brad Griffin will join the hospital as CEO of Colleton Medical Center on May 1.
“I am honored to become part of the Colleton Medical Center family,” Griffin said in a press release about his appointment. “There are many opportunities for growth in this dynamic community. I look forward to getting to know the wonderful residents of Colleton County and the Lowcountry.”
Former Colleton Medical Center CEO Mitch Mongell left the position in December for another job.
Colleton Medical Center is part of the South Atlantic Division of HCA. Trident Health is also a member of the same newtork. An earlier version of this article incorrectly reported that Colleton Medical Center is part of Trident Health.
