Moncks Corner pair wanted after shooting arrested

Trenton Major, 23, of Jingo Circle in Moncks Corner was booked into the Berkeley County jail March 12, 2013, on two counts of attempted murder.

Two Moncks Corner men who were wanted after a shooting that left three people injured last month have been arrested.

Trenton Major, 23, of Jingo Circle, and Darnell Reid, 21, of Gulledge Street, were arrested in Florence and booked into the Berkeley County jail Tuesday.

Major is being held on $500,000 bail on two counts of attempted murder. Reid’s bail was set at $625,000 on two counts of attempted murder and first-degree burglary.

Both men are accused of firing shots that struck several homes and injured three people on Wall Street in Moncks Corner about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 5. Two people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds to their legs, and another person was grazed by a bullet, according to Moncks Corner police.
